We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Butcher. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and production of high-quality meat products in a fast-paced butcher environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in butchering, and food safety, contributing to the overall success of our busy butchery.
Responsibilities
Cut, Slice, Dice Beef , Lamb and Chicken.
Ensure all food production meets safety and quality standards, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in butchery tasks, including the preparation of meats as required.
Collaborate with butcher staff to maintain an organised and efficient workflow during service periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the working area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Skills
Proven experience in butchery roles within a butcher setting.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of food handling.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
A team player with strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with others in a busy environment.
