Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Food Production Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of food products while maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in butchery and a thorough understanding of food safety practices.

Duties

Prepare and produce high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards. Assist in butchery tasks, including the cutting, trimming, and processing of meats. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Monitor food safety practices throughout the production process to maintain compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a positive working environment by supporting fellow team members and contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.

Requirements

Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, preferably within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and butchery skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
