Butcher's Assistant / Trainee Butcher

to join our growing team.

This is a unique opportunity to train directly under an

award-winning butcher

, gaining hands-on experience in a restaurant famous for its craft, quality, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Support daily butchery operations, including breaking down carcasses, preparing cuts, and maintaining product consistency Learn traditional and modern butchery techniques from an industry-leading expert Work closely with our kitchen team, communicating clearly to ensure smooth service and prep Help maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe environment Uphold The Devonshire's high standards of quality and presentation

What We're Looking For

Strong interest in butchery and a genuine desire to learn and excel Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Previous kitchen or food prep experience is helpful but

not essential

--full training is provided

What We Offer

Full-time schedule:

40 hours per week, 8am-6pm, 4 days on / 3 days off
