Job Description
Full Time hours & will include weekends.
Countrystyle Meats Farmshop is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, confident & friendly counter assistant, to work alongside the Butchery Department.
Role will include -
Ensuring smooth running of the Meat CounterProvide customers with excellent customer service.
Assist Butchers with their roles.
Prepare meat, including sausage & burger making, kebabs & ready meal preparation.
Packing Meat.
Checking & accepting deliveries.
Maintaining highest levels of Hygiene.
Maintaining the high standard of presentation of meat in our counters.
Stock rotation & date checking.
Occasionally helping in other departments when required.
Cleaning down at the end of every day.
Essential Skills -
Excellent attitude towards customer service, with experience in a food environment (preferred but not essential).Productive and efficient working ability both independently and as part of a team.
High standards of Hygiene & cleanliness.
Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail.
Have a can-do attitude.
Ensure compliance with all food, Health & Hygiene & safety procedures.
Reliable & trustworthy
Works well under pressure.
