Buyer - West Yorkshire - 38,000 + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation. Offering a competitive salary of up to 38,000 plus benefits, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and innovative team.



The organisation has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across multiple sectors, including HVAC, engineering, and manufacturing. With a strong pipeline of projects and a commitment to continuous improvement, they are now looking to strengthen their procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement and high-quality materials. Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing. Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. Maintain accurate procurement records and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

2 years' experience in procurement, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. A proactive and organised approach to work with strong attention to detail.
