Job Description

The National Buying Administration department are seeking a confident, and detail-driven Administrator to join our dynamic Supplier Administration Service Team (SAST) on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you'll bring a consistently positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for quality. You will liaise with both internal colleagues and external partners, playing a vital role in maintaining strong relationships and smooth operations. The successful candidate will need to be organised, vocal, and resilient, capable of building strong relationships and maintaining oversight of activities to ensure quality and timeliness.



You will act as both a hands-on administrator and, where required, a trainer and feedback provider for our outsourced partners, Genpact, ensuring that all processes meet agreed standards and deadlines, and that communication between internal colleagues, suppliers, and external partners remains clear and effective. Role overview




Supplier Data Management



Accurately collate, verify, and maintain supplier information to ensure consistency and data integrity Maintain and manage supplier records in SAP and CBIS systems Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail Process Oversight & Quality Control Serve as a central point of expertise for SAST requests and ALDIs supplier lifecycle processes Act as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and outsourced partners, ensuring all request criteria are consistently met Proactively identify opportunities to improve data usage, streamline processes, and support automation

Stakeholder & Relationship Management


Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, colleagues and external partners at both national and international levels Act as an escalation point for urgent requests for supplier onboarding or supplier change requests from the business Monitoring work handled by Genpact by tracking requests, monitoring delivery against KPIs and reporting back to the SAST Subject Matter Expert Adhere to established data entry procedures while upholding confidentiality, data integrity, and security protocols

Skills/qualifications




Essential:


Experience in a Supplier Lifecycle focused role Data entry experience Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling data Excellent communication skills, able to interact confidently with technical and non-technical colleagues Ability to keep others aligned and accountable. Experience of working within an administrative role Ability to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Experience working with Business Partners Confident with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling data Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently Pro-active with communications and manages expectations on delivery Ability to proactively work towards challenging deadlines through multitasking and resilience Meticulously follows rules and procedures to ensure work is completed to the required Aldi standard Is process driven and does not 'cut corners' Can deliver solutions autonomously Have confidence to be vocal and assertive

Desirable:


Experience of working with third party suppliers Experience in delivering training Experience with SAP and CBIS Customer focused Experience of analysing data Able to identify and drive through process improvements Intellectually curious and takes initiative
