The Role



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Coordinator to support our HR team in enhancing the employee experience and streamlining HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, particularly in Health and Safety, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Onboard new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Support the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and performance management systems. Coordinate training sessions, including Health and Safety Induction and professional development initiatives. Assist in employee engagement activities and handle Health and Safety operations on behalf of HR. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. Collaborate with the HR team on various projects to improve HR processes and Health and Safety initiatives. Stay up-to-date with HR trends and best practices.

Requirements



Must be eligible to work in the UK (full-time). No visa sponsorship will be offered for this position. Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field. Proven experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Compensation and Benefits



25 days of annual leave + bank holidays Workplace pension 9:00am-6:00pm with 1 hour lunch break On-site work
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday
