Your Role:

As a

BYD Technician

, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of BYD electric and hybrid vehicles. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BYD electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrids. Use manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), routine servicing, and vehicle software updates. Maintain detailed records of service and repairs in line with BYD and dealership standards. Stay current with BYD's latest technical updates, systems, and innovations. Provide technical support to other team members and contribute to a positive workshop environment. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with EV or hybrid experience. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Maintenance & Repair. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (BYD or OEM systems is a plus). Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license.
