Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a passion for creating high-quality cabinetry and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of cabinets, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble cabinets according to specifications and design plans. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish wood materials. Perform joinery techniques to ensure strong and durable constructions. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects, including plumbing, electrical work, and masonry as needed. Conduct repairs and modifications on existing cabinetry as required. Assist in construction painting tasks to achieve the desired finish on cabinetry. Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cabinet making or a related field is essential. Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, and use of hand tools. Familiarity with power tools commonly used in woodworking is required. Experience in roofing or other construction-related tasks is advantageous. Basic knowledge of plumbing, masonry, or electrical experience is a plus. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg) safely and effectively. Excel a commitment to producing high-quality work.
