As a Cabinet Maker, you'll be responsible for building high-quality, bespoke kitchen furniture and cabinetry to precise specifications. You'll be working from detailed drawings, crafting everything from solid wood frames to traditionally jointed doors and contributing to the build of beautiful handmade kitchens.
You'll be based in our well-equipped workshop, using our full range of fixed machinery and support of our experienced team. We expect an experienced to have their own comprehensive hand tool kit.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture bespoke kitchen cabinets, frames, and doors to specification
Construct in-frame kitchens with solid wood frames and mortice and tenon jointed doors
Work with hardwoods, sheet materials, and veneers to produce furniture to a high standard
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
Maintain precision, quality, and attention to detail at all times
Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and well organised
Work collaboratively with other craftsmen and the production team to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a
Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner
(ideally 3+ years)
Skilled in
traditional furniture-making techniques
and
in-frame kitchen construction
Strong practical woodworking and finishing skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Able to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
Full UK driving licence and own transport (workshop located outside Newport)
