Role Overview:


As a Cabinet Maker, you will work closely with our experienced craftsmen to produce, assemble, and install bespoke, high-end furniture and cabinetry. This is a fantastic opportunity to further refine your skills, work on a diverse range of projects, and grow your career within a supportive, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:



Woodworking Tasks:

Assist senior cabinet makers in the cutting, shaping, assembly, and finishing of custom cabinetry and furniture.

Techniques & Processes:

Build your experience in woodworking, joinery, finishing, and applying various stains, paints, and lacquers.

Installation Support:

Help with the installation of cabinetry on-site, ensuring a precise fit and flawless finish, while maintaining a tidy and professional job site.

Tool & Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure tools and machinery are maintained in safe working condition, adhering to all safety protocols.

Material Handling:

Assist in the preparation, measuring, and cutting of materials to ensure accuracy and quality.

Technical Drawing Interpretation:

Learn to read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precision in the execution of designs.

Assembly & Installation:

Support the assembly of cabinets, doors, drawers, and hardware, and assist in on-site installations.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the high standards of craftsmanship and design we are known for.

Safety & Cleanliness:

Keep the workspace organized and clean, following safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Continuous Learning:

Engage in on-the-job training and seek feedback from senior craftsmen to improve your techniques and knowledge.

About You:



A genuine passion for woodworking and a desire to develop your skills in cabinet making. Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work well within a team and take direction from experienced professionals. Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow in your trade. Previous experience in woodworking or a related field is advantageous but not essential.

Eligibility:


This role requires you to have the right to work in the UK. London Furniture Studio is unable to offer UK visa sponsorship.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Freelance

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
