Job description:
We are recruiting an experienced Cabling Engineer to join our team. This is an integral role in our mission to provide quality services across the telecoms industry. Working with fibre installations both in the Midlands and nationally, and reporting to the Cabling Supervisor, you will be driven by delivering exceptional quality and have the right skills and attitude to be able to carry out installations and maintenance projects as instructed by the client's work pack and to HGC standards.
Salary indicated is dependent on previous experience.
Key responsibilities:
Test rod and rope
Installation of cabling and sub duct
Installation of internal and external cable within commercial or residential properties
Cable recovery
Production of hard or soft copy of "As builds" and test results
Provide detailed daily project reports to Project Manager/, Coordinator or Field Supervisor as appropriate
Adhere to equipment, cable or cable core labelling to customer requirements
Participate in the ERS (emergency call out response) rota for a period of 7 days at a time, responding to any call outs on your allocated shifts
Accurately interpret and implement work pack instruction's
Production of redline mark ups if required
Complete A55 submissions
Adhere to DFE booking practices
Ensure quality of personal workmanship
Required:
Proven experience of Cable Installation on multiple networks
Valid UK Driving License
NRSWA Unit 2
Desirable:
PIA Accreditations
Towing License
Critical National infrastructure qualifications
High Level Security clearance
CSCS / CCNSG
First Aid
