Responsibilities

Pull and route fiber optic and copper cables through conduits with precision and care Use hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, drills, and ohmmeters to prepare cables and verify electrical connections Conduct fiber splicing and testing to ensure optimal signal integrity and performance Support field service activities by troubleshooting cable issues, replacing damaged components, and performing routine maintenance Follow safety protocols related to low voltage wiring, electrical work, and telecommunication standards Document work progress through detailed reports and update project logs accurately

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for cable pulling and installation Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques and network installation procedures Knowledge of Ethernet cabling, telephony wiring, and low voltage electrical systems Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to job sites
