Alexander James Recruiting is currently representing an industry leading manufacturer in the racking & mezzanine industry that is looking to bring on a new CAD Design Engineer to work on projects for their clients from their site in the West Midlands. With a competitive package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced CAD Designer looking for a change in career.

Responsibilities

Using CAD software to design and create technical drawings and plans based requirements supplied by the sales team

Editing designs and various stages of the process as the customer requires

Checking the feasibility of the manufacture and construction of the product

Ensuring that all drawings comply with the health and safety protocols set out by the industry

Liaising with the sales team in order to ensure the customers' requirements are realistic

Requirements

You will ideally have previously worked within the racking & mezzanine industry within a design focused position. This isn't however essential. The would also consider an experienced design engineer working in fabrication, manufacturing or similar. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the West Midlands as you will be required to be on the site daily.

Up to 38,000 base salary, depending on experience

Not only do they manufacture, but they also carry out the designs and install their products for their customer base. They are part of a wider, family-run group that operates across Europe. They are now looking to expand their team in the UK.
