About the Role:


We are looking for a skilled

CAD Designer

with experience in

Catia V5

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

manufacturing environments

, preferably within the

automotive sector

. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, designing high-quality components and assemblies for cutting-edge vehicles.


Key Responsibilities:

Create

3D models, technical drawings, and assemblies

using

Catia V5

Develop designs that align with

manufacturing capabilities and constraints

Collaborate with

engineering, production, and quality teams

to ensure feasibility and accuracy Conduct

design modifications and optimizations

to improve product performance Work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards Maintain documentation and version control for all design files

Requirements:


?

Proven experience

as a

CAD Designer

using

Catia V5

? Background in a

manufacturing environment

(automotive preferred)

? Strong knowledge of

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

? Understanding of

materials, fabrication, and assembly processes

? Ability to work in a

fast-paced and team-oriented environment

? Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills


Desirable Skills:


? Experience with

PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Teamcenter)

? Knowledge of

automotive industry standards & regulations

? Understanding of

FEA and simulation tools

3 week initial contract - further work expected Location: Gaydon (Onsite) 5 days onsite
