Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drawer proficient in SolidWorks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and a passion for creating detailed schematics and models for construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to bring designs to life.

Duties

Utilise SolidWorks to create precise 3D models and detailed drawings for various construction projects. Develop and modify schematics, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and provide design solutions. Use additional CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and MicroStation as needed to support project goals. Maintain organised documentation of all design files and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Assist in the preparation of presentations or reports showcasing design concepts to stakeholders.

Experience

Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential; experience with other CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation is highly desirable. A solid understanding of construction principles and practices is preferred. Previous experience in creating schematics and detailed CAD drawings within a professional environment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
