We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics that support various construction and engineering projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple CAD software applications and a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
Responsibilities
Develop and produce high-quality CAD drawings, schematics, and models for construction projects.
Collaborate with customers, engineers, managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Utilise software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks to create detailed designs.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
Maintain an organised library of design files and documentation for easy access by team members.
Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues that may arise.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is essential.
Strong understanding of industrial engineering and welding fabrication principles and practices. Mechanical engineering background is preferred.
Ability to create accurate and detailed drawings that meet project specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in design work.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges efficiently.
