Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in Grantham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our engineering projects by creating detailed CAD drawings and schematics that align with our mission of delivering top-notch cathodic protection solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Create schematics for various engineering projects to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for project visualization and coordination. Maintain organized documentation of all design changes and revisions. Assist in the preparation of project proposals by providing accurate drawings. Ensure that all designs adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and CAD software.
Experience with schematics and technical drawing standards. Familiarity with SketchUp, NavisWorks, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A background in construction or engineering is preferred.
