Job description Benson Signs, part of LPW Group, are a Liverpool based sign maker established in 1969 who have built up a reputation as one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s leading sign specialists. We are looking for a person in a technical role who will be involved in creating CAD files for the processing of light aluminium profiles, who can quickly develop a knowledge of the light sheet metal components that we manufacture, also helping to ensure that weekly production targets are met by liaising with a small team including CNC operator, sheet metal operative and company sales person. This person must have CAD experience proficient enough to create simple 2D cutting patterns for CNC use and have technical / practical background (knowledge of aluminium components assembly) They should be a good communicator with good organisational skills. This role carries excellent prospects and full role training will be given and time to adapt working under an experienced manager. The production process connected to this role are quite new to the company so there is an opportunity to develop and become part of a new team within an established company. Salary: Negotiable based on experience Normal Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays. Main Aims To assist in the production of light sheetmetal components. To help ensuring daily/weekly production targets are met. Job Duties Produce basic 2D cad drawings for CNC cutting of aluminium profiles Involvement in daily / weekly production schedules and planning Liaising with rest of team to ensure production schedules are met. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Starting salary will be dependent upon skill and experience Specific Training will be provided. Benefits:

• Mon - Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 : Fri - 08.00 - 13.00
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available when work levels require it.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Liverpool, L3 7AX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Light engineering experience or sign manufacturing experience
• Proficient training / use of CAD software to produce 2D profiles essential
