An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced CAD Programmer to join a manufacturing business. Our client is a well-established company who manufacture furniture for various clients including hotels and private homes. They design and build bespoke furniture, storage and shelving for their clients, ranging from supermarkets, clothing shops and home furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software
Develop and modify CNC programs based on customer specifications and production requirements.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and efficient
Review and adjust drawings as required to meet quality and manufacturing standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in CAD programming and technical drawing
Proficiency in using CAD software (such as SolidWorks)
Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and problem solving skills
Output trough past processor then manual transfer to machine
Create cut lists using Magicut
Single part machining on suction cups.
Trimming, packeting, horizontal and vertical drilling
3 axis programming using Alphacam software
The candidate
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing technical drawings, programming CNC machinery, and contributing to the design-to-production process. The role requires teams to work closely and well together, due to the demands of the business, so the ability to work well on your own initiative, as well as being a great team communication and player are essential to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
