Herschel Infrared Ltd is a dynamic and high growth international company manufacturing and supplying energy-efficient, stylish and sustainable electric heating solutions.

Due to our expansion, we are looking for a CAD Technician to work in our production facility in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will be highly organised with a high level of attention to detail.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

CAD Technician

with strong

AutoCAD

and

Fusion 360

experience to join our design and engineering team. You will work closely with engineers and production staff to create accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and maintain precise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Fusion 360 Create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for production Collaborate with engineers to develop new product designs and improve existing ones Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, tolerances, and company specifications Manage file versions and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date Support prototyping and problem-solving during the build process

Skills & Experience

Proficient in

AutoCAD

and

Fusion 360

(Fusion 360 experience is essential) Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes Ability to read and create detailed technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, product design, or similar (desirable)
