We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative
CAD Technician
to join our growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to world-class wellness spaces and work on cutting-edge, custom projects in the luxury sector.
Role Summary:
The
CAD Technician
will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and 3D models to support the design, fabrication, and installation of bespoke wellness products and environments. Working closely with our designers, engineers, and project managers, you will ensure every project is delivered to the highest design and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models for swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, spas, and wellness suites using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
Prepare GA (General Arrangement), fabrication, and installation drawings in line with project specifications and timelines.
Interpret architectural plans, M&E drawings, and client specifications to incorporate into the design.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and manufacturability.
Maintain and manage CAD libraries and drawing registers.
Assist in developing technical documentation, including method statements, installation manuals, and maintenance guides.
Ensure all drawings meet relevant standards, codes, and company procedures.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to clarify and resolve any technical issues.
Support site teams with technical drawing updates and as-built documentation as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Modelling softwares:
Inventor - Essential
AutoCAD - Preferred but not essential
Rendering Softwares:
Revit - Essential
Lumion - Essential
Other:
Background in architectural, MEP, product, or interior detailing would be beneficial but not essential
An understanding of construction principles, materials, and mechanical systems.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in the wellness, spa, or luxury interiors sector is a distinct advantage.
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of waterproofing systems, tiling, HVAC, and bespoke joinery related to wellness facilities.
Familiarity with BIM standards and project coordination using collaborative platforms.
Previous experience working on high-end residential or hospitality projects.
