About Us

Lam-Art is a well-established company manufacturing a wide range of laminate-based products for the construction industry. We make and install washroom and IPS as our core business; in recent years we have expanded to offer custom made projects such as storage, reception desks and furniture for our clients. We're known for high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. We want to employ a CAD Technician to support our production team with precise technical drawings and design input.

What You'll Do

Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD-based software Collaborate with the workshop teams to ensure design accuracy Ensure all drawings meet architectural and manufacturing specifications Modify and update existing drawings when needed Maintain well-organised records of all designs and revisions Assist in project proposals with accurate and professional technical drawings Manage your own workload to meet tight deadlines Prepare complete drawing packs for relevant teams

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software eg Solidworks Experience in the joinery sector (preferred) Ability to manage multiple tasks independently Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Background in design and/or joinery (advantageous) Effective communication skills Must have a full UK driving licence and own transport (due to location)

What We Offer

A Competitive salary 35k - 40k per annum Monday to Friday schedule - Mon - Thursday - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 1.00 pm Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop your skills in a growing business
