Job Description

FB Chain specialises in the manufacture and supply of conveyor chain, roller chain, and associated products. The company's reputation for quality and service is exceptional and FB is now the foremost supplier for this package of products in the UK and Ireland. FB Chain is in its 40th year of trading. FB chain currently employee 40 members of staff.

We are looking for a self-motivated CAD mechanical technician with 2 - 4 years in the use of CAD (ideally Fusion), working in a small team to produce component/assembly drawings, an understanding of fluid and pneumatic control would be ideal but not essential.

Skills/Attitude

Mechanical engineering knowledge or background Understanding of fluid and pneumatic control Strong knowledge of CAD Experience creating 3D models (ideally Fusion), assemblies and technical drawings Great Telephone manner Confident & professional Motivated & Positive Honest, reliable & hard working
Other skills - helpful but not essential

Sales Experience - direct contact with clients and supplier

Remuneration:

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 07.30am - 4.30pm

Friday 8.00 - 2.30pm
Location: Office based at Blackburn.
Holiday: 20 days (increasing to 23) plus bank holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 36,000.00-39,000.00 per year
