As a well-established Civil Engineering Company founded in 1972, we are now seeking a skilled
CAD Technician
with at least 2 years' experience to join our technical team. You'll play a key role in producing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models that support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects. Based in our Head Office in Eurocentral - working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, full-time permanent. Occasional Site visits may be required.
Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and terrain models for civil engineering works
Perform volume calculations and generate cross-sections
Interpret engineering plans and specifications to ensure precision
Review drawings for compliance with industry standards and technical requirements
Maintain version control and update drawings throughout project lifecycles
Conduct site visits as necessary to gather data and ensure accuracy of designs.
Support project managers in coordinating project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and NavisWorks.
Degree or equivalent experience in, or a related field.
Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
