CAD Technician (Technical Administrator) - Hamilton, Glasgow (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Our Hamilton team is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled CAD Technician (Technical Administrator) to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract.


As a CAD Technician (Technical Administrator), you'll support the adoption of assets into the business by ensuring all asset records are accurately updated, registered, and stored in the relevant systems.


If you don't have CAD experience but have strong administrative skills and an interest in developing a career in CAD, we offer full training to help you build your expertise.

Your responsibilities as a CAD Technician (Technical Administrator):



Manage and process asset submissions

--ensure all required information is accurately collected, identifying and resolving missing data while meeting service standard deadlines.

Verify and control utility network documentation

--review and validate drawings from utility providers, enabling the timely issuance of Completion Certificates as part of the asset adoption process.

Create and maintain precise asset records

--produce and update Multi-Utility As-Laid/As-Built drawings in line with company standards, ensuring all records are audit-ready and stored correctly for future use.

Support efficient network management

--organise and maintain asset documentation within the company's document management system, making critical project information easily accessible to internal teams.

Deliver outstanding service

--work within agreed SLAs to provide timely and high-quality support to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient adoption process.

Experience / Knowledge:



Fully proficient user of all Microsoft Office packages


Setting and monitoring of KPIs and working to achieve agreed SLAs


AutoCAD proficient (desirable)
