CADCAM Operator/Toolmaker

who can contribute their expertise.

The Role:

As a CADCAM Operator/Toolmaker at MJ Toolmakers Limited, you will be responsible for contributing to the designing, manufacture, assembly, and maintenance of high-precision injection mould tools. You will be expected to use your bench fitting skills alongside high level CAD/CAM knowledge to support the full lifecycle of our tooling projects.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Must have completed an Apprenticeship or formal training/education in Toolmaking/CNC/Engineering. Must be highly knowledgeable in this professional field, preferably gained through previous experience. Able to operate and programme machinery effectively. Extensive awareness of Health and Safety protocols for this industry/nature of environment. Translating digital designs created from our software to the manufacturing machinery. Must demonstrate a thorough and professional approach when working with intricate, high-cavitation, or complex moulds. Some form of letter/recognition (e.g from a previous employer) in relation to a candidates prior experience. This would preferably reflect evidence of the candidate working in this kind of environment where they displayed the skills associated with this job opening. A candidate must be able to responsibly commute or be relocating to the area for this job. A driving license is necessary. Must be allowed to legally work in the UK.
