Overview

The volunteer position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. As a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer, you will engage in various activities, both on and off the water, that contribute to the overall mission of the organisation while gaining valuable experience in vocational roles of your choosing, with options such as Ceremonial, Seamanship, Marine Engineering, Catering and First Aid available. You will receive training in working with young people, leadership, project management and community engagement.

This role is extremely versatile, and the organisation will support you to set and meet your own goals during your time with us. You will receive whatever training necessary to thrive in our charity.

The tasks of a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer include but are not restricted to the following:

Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of Children and Young People for whom they are responsible.

Delivering instruction and training to adults and cadets of the Sea Cadets

Attending Parade Nights (Wednesday 1900-2130).
