Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences. Dishwashing and prompt service of food and beverages Participate in food preparation when necessary, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to thrive in a busy setting. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for customer service Can-do attitude Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 35 per week
