Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team at Ori Caffe Bristol. In this role, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and clean environment. Your passion for hospitality and food safety will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality experiences to our patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate till operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist with catering orders as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Provide support in training new staff members on best practices in hospitality. Must be available to work weekends.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Experience in restaurant or catering settings is advantageous. Skills in bartending or food preparation are a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
