We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers enjoy a delightful experience, from food preparation to serving delicious beverages and meals.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Support catering events as needed, ensuring timely and efficient service. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating barista skills when required. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

Skills

Previous experience in catering or hospitality is highly desirable. Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of food safety regulations. Experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Barista experience is a plus, showcasing an ability to craft quality beverages. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving in a busy environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Pay: From 12.21 per hour
