Cafe Assistant
, to join our team at Glenmor in our cosy cafe, The Tryst.
Glenmor is our seasonal ownership village with seven-night or short break luxury family lodges to buy or rent. With its own lochans, woodland walks and cosy cafe, 'The Tryst', Glenmor is a secluded rural getaway. With two, three or four en-suite bedrooms, each Glenmor home offers space, luxury and privacy, as well as all the advantages of the Glorious Playground just a stone's throw from your luxury holiday lodge.
The core working days for this role are Thursday to Saturday, 1:30pm-10:00pm, and we'll also need you to be flexible to cover additional days when required.
The on target earning potential for this role is 16.15/ per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of 13.65, plus a qualified estimate of 2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Delivering a warm and memorable dining experience for all of our Tryst guests
You'll be working independently, warmly greeting our guests, taking their food and drinks orders whilst always swiftly and professionally responding to their needs.
You'll also be cooking and presenting food to order, quickly and capably, and always at the highest standard
You'll take pride in all tasks you complete, attending to any guest queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner, with a commitment to seeking a positive solution
Working closely with your colleagues, ensuring hygiene throughout the kitchen is impeccable, including our cutlery, crockery and glassware
Planning and preparing for the forthcoming service and next day, making sure the Tryst is always ready for service
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
Ideally you have waiter and customer service experience and love to cook, however having a great attitude is also essential
You have also already secured a Food Hygiene qualification and completed allergen training
Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it's the first time
Flexible in approach, you're always prepared to support your colleagues, enthusiastically and positively
Confident and assured working alone, you also thrive working with others
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual
