The Island Boating Lake Cafe provides an amazing setting to relax and take in one of Gt Yarmouth's most beautiful attractions for both locals and tourists alike.

Featuring both traditional row boats suitable for 4 people and 2-person pedalos there's also fun and excitement to be had around the boating lake. With indoor and outdoor seating, mouth-watering cakes and light lunches.

What you'll be doing:

Greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing drinks Working as a team to deliver a clean and safe environment Serving ice cream and cakes Operating the safe hire of our boats and pedalos Serving our range of coffee

Experience/Skills (Essential/Desirable)

A genuine desire to want to serve people and deliver a great experience to our customers (E) Strong team player, yet capable of working independently as required (E) Excellent customer service skills (E) To be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure (E) Prior experience as a Barista / Waiting Staff in a Cafe / Coffee House / Restaurant environment (D) Food preparation / displaying food ready for sale (D) Ability to operate IT/Till based service equipment for orders, till usage, card payments (D) Experience in dealing with guest concerns and problem solving (D) Cash handling (D)

Technical & Work-based Skills (Essential/Desirable)

Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays as required (E) Willingness to work flexible hours to account for seasonal opening hours (E)
