We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise and managerial experience to ensure that our cafe runs smoothly and efficiently while providing an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cafe operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care, ensuring satisfaction. Implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and increase patronage. Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and budget management.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience as a barista or in a cafe setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in hotel or restaurant management is preferred but not mandatory.
