Dealing with and handling customer queries and any complaints in the first instance and reporting feedback to the Managers.
Following and working within established guidelines and operating procedures.
Responsible for security (product and cash), taking payments accurately and be vigilant for shoplifters and fraudulent notes etc.
Ensuring the cash and property are secured on leaving the premises.
Following open and closing procedures as directed.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and creating displays.
Ensuring compliance with all legislation, H&S and food hygiene.
Food Hygiene training / qualifications (can be given).
Trained Barista or with previous catering experience an advantage.
Serve all customers with food and drink orders efficiently.
Cash handling including cashing up and banking
To prepare and serve hot drinks.
To ensure the cafe and counters before, during and at the end of service are prepared and ready for customers.
Offer customers outstanding customer service and care.
Occasional Baking and other food preparation including Baguettes, Sandwiches, Paninis, Toasties etc.
To assist with stock delivery and ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for cafe area, managing orders and stock rotation.
Ensure queues are managed efficiently and customer expectations are met,
Mainly Front of House but from time to time will be required to step in and Supervise the Kitchen
