We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant cafe team. As the Cafe Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and employees.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the cafe, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Supervise and train cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of supplies. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or feedback promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including kitchen areas. Handle cash management and financial reporting related to cafe operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe management role is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation and production techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Proven ability to supervise teams effectively, promoting teamwork and collaboration. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
