We have an exciting new opportunity to join us as a full-time Supervisor in one of our hog roast shops in the centre of Edinburgh.

At Oink we really care about where our food comes from. We have a farm down in the Scottish Borders where we produce all our meat to sell in our 3 shops located around Edinburgh. We are passionate about providing a high quality product to our customers in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. So we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, personable and who loves good local food just as much as we do.

As a Supervisor in our business, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the smooth day to day running of all cafe operations, including managing the shift, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high quality standards Leading the team whilst on shift in a friendly and approachable manor, providing support when needed Monitoring stock levels and placing daily/weekly orders in conjunction with par levels Communicating often and consistently with your cafe Manager and the owners as and when required Driving consistently high standards of food quality, speed of service and above all else, customer satisfaction Dealing with customer complaints or issues in a calm and respectful way with the aim to resolve all issues and exceed expectations
The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable and able to use initiative, having worked a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. We are keen to work with someone who is looking for a career in hospitality and has a passion for providing first class customer service. We would also love to have someone on board who is creative and can bring innovative ideas to the business. They also need to be a good team player and keen to work on developing their leadership and communication skills.
