Overview

The Cafe Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, and leading the team during shifts. Working alongside the cafe manager, this role helps create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the cafe runs efficiently and meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure all drinks, food items, and service standards meet company quality guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, food, and beverages. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for customers and staff.

Team Supervision

Lead, motivate, and support baristas and cafe staff during shifts. Train new employees in customer service, product preparation, and safety procedures. Provide constructive feedback to help staff develop skills and improve performance.

Customer Service

Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Build rapport with regular customers and foster a positive cafe atmosphere. Monitor customer satisfaction and make suggestions to improve guest experience.

Sales & Financial Duties

Assist in managing daily cash handling procedures and ensure accurate till operations. Support in tracking sales performance and identifying opportunities to increase revenue. Help implement promotional activities or seasonal specials.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards. Uphold company policies and ensure the team follows proper procedures. Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
