We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a bustling hospitality environment in a Sports complex .
There is 2 x part time roles (flexible for additional hours to cover sick and holidays ) or 1 x full time role .
must be available for weekend work
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. The role is to work over two sites right next to each other . This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food, beverage service, and team leadership to contribute to a vibrant cafe setting.
Duties
Manage all aspects of cafe operations
Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the premises.
Assist in food production, including preparing beverages as a Barista and supporting staff during busy periods.
Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent hospitality service to enhance their experience.
Monitor stock levels, , and liase with management to ensure smooth operation.
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality standards.
Previous experience in restaurant, cafe settings is highly desirable.
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure In a busy fast pace environment. Some lifting may be needed on occasion.
