We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant cafe environment. trained in brunch food preparation & service is a bonus point . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food preparation and service. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth service, and upholding the organisation's reputation for excellence.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all cafe activities, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning routines
Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel to deliver outstanding service
Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
Develop staff schedules, monitor performance, and facilitate ongoing training programmes
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within the cafe
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Assist with menu planning, including new product development and seasonal offerings
Ensure all food production meets quality standards and is prepared efficiently
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Strong supervisory experience with team management capabilities
Extensive restaurant or hospitality experience with a focus on customer service excellence
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Barista experience is desirable but not essential; however, familiarity with serving beverages is advantageous
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
Experience in culinary arts or hotel management can be beneficial for this role
