We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Assist with cooking and food presentation, maintaining high standards of quality.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Provide training and support to team members in areas such as bartending and customer service.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service industry, preferably in a cafe or hotel setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
