Job Description
We are seeking a confident & reliable Part -Time Team Member to join our Cafe
.
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the Cafe. Opportunity to progress to a Supervisor Role.
Must have flexible Availability from 8am- 6pm. ( Only Barista trained staff will open at 7.45am)
Will be required for some days over Christmas Period ( we only close 25th Dec & !st Jan)
Previous Applicants need not applyFull Service training will be given and Barista training will also be given at a later date.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and ensure dishes are served promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food with a friendly attitude
- Uphold high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Support the team in maintaining an efficient workflow during busy periods
- Apply upselling techniques to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or Cafe environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team and assist colleagues as needed
- Interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 9.80-12.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
