As a

Cafe Waitress

, you will be the face of the cafe, ensuring guests have a warm and welcoming experience. Your role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and friendly environment. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with seating. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide menu recommendations and answer customer queries. Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Order & Service Management:

Communicate orders to the kitchen and barista station. Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly. Check on customers throughout their visit and handle any issues professionally. Process payments and operate the cash register.

Cleaning & Organization:

Keep tables clean and set up for new guests. Ensure the cafe floor, counters, and service areas remain tidy. Follow health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.

Stock & Supplies:

Assist in restocking utensils, napkins, and other service items. Monitor and report low stock items to management.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is a plus but not required. Friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. A positive attitude and a passion for great customer service. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
