Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials, to assist guests in their choices. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Assist where needed.

Experience

Strong people skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Experience in upselling products or services is beneficial but not essential.
