Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Operate coffee machines and other equipment to create high-quality drinks, utilising barista skills. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous barista experience is advantageous for delivering quality beverages. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in food preparation techniques to assist in menu offerings. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
