Duties

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude, providing an exceptional dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Support catering events by setting up and serving food and beverages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Experience as a barista is an advantage, with skills in coffee preparation preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
