John Muir Cafe - Kitchen & Counter Assistant

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the cafe / hospitality industry

John Muir Cafe is looking for friendly and hardworking people to join our team! We're a busy, family-friendly cafe in the heart of East Links Family Park, serving homemade scones, cakes, fresh salads, sandwiches, hot food, and Nespresso Coffee. We take pride in ourselves on giving every visitor a 5-star experience.

We currently have a part-time position (up to 25 hours per week) available. Weekend work is essential.

Cafe opening hours: 7 days a week, 9am - 5pm.

Kitchen Assistant Duties:

Help prepare and make food quickly and consistently when orders come into the kitchen Support with kitchen prep Wash dishes / KP duties Run food to tables
Counter Assistant Duties:

Serve customers at the counter Clear and clean tables Restock fridges, display cabinets, and cake displays Keep the cafe area clean and tidy Wash dishes in the kitchen Complete daily cleaning tasks
