An opportunity has opened for an assistant cafe manager. The role would suit an experienced hospitality professional with some management experience who is passionate about hospitality and is keen to help develop a venue. You will already have supervisory experience and would like to take more responsibility. The kitchen garden cafe is an independent venue located in vibrant Kings Heath and hosts Weddings, Parties, Music gigs surrounding a garden and art shop.
As the Assistant Manager, you will be jointly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Cafe's Front of House operations. Your role will encompass overseeing food service, presentation of cafe, team leadership and quality control.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee Cafe operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere .
Organise promotions to maximise sales in the cafe
Train and develop staff
Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste and optimise turnover
Ensure all customers have a great experience.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a supervisor in a hospitality role
Good IT skills
Barista training advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends as needed.

Pay: 10.50-12.50 per hour
