As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and hygiene standards. Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and responding to customer inquiries with a friendly attitude. Support bartending duties as required, including serving beverages and managing the bar area. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including tables, counters, and kitchen areas. Help with catering services during events or special occasions, ensuring all food is presented attractively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience in food preparation and catering is advantageous. Bartending skills would be beneficial but are not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
