We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing excellent service and recommendations when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Operate coffee machines and other equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or similar environment is preferred, particularly in barista roles. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation and serving will be advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
